Our entire experience with Sheffield Furniture was defined by interactions with a personal, knowledgeable, and competent team of people who know how to make customers feel like their needs have been clearly understood. Our designer, Liz, had excellent ideas and options for the room we were furnishing. We were never rushed to make decisions, and the variety of choices that were offered was more than adequate but not overwhelming. That expertise was evident with regard to all other aspects of the process as well, from custom window treatments to delivery. We are extremely happy with the end result, and the compliments of others confirm the beauty and comfort of the design.

"Katie Armour was great...........as a much younger person than I am, she listens VERY well and really does take into consideration what my tastes are & what I would like. I think that is unusual these days to get an interior designer who hears your concerns and relates to one’s own taste. Then yet, she does expose me to somethings that I would not have considered originally, which is a good thing as she is the one who knows the products and what is trending. Most important I get the feeling she really wants me to like what I have purchased! "

Love the designers, the work, the service when you need repair. Timelines, communication on ETA, turnarounds are slow for this fast-paced world where everyone expects same-day or next day delivery. I’m in my early 30s and offer a great opportunity for retailers for growth, but retailers need to adapt and evolve to consumer expectations.

I had an old hutch of my grandmother’s restored. Steve Epps performed the work. He did a fantastic job. Joanna Hollis handled the logistics associated with the job. Again, I was very pleased. I’d also like to note that the work was started at the beginning of the pandemic...not an easy time. Steve and his team allowed me to keep my piece in the warehouse for months until I could find a safe time to receive it. I really appreciated that. Great job by all involved.

The salesperson that sold us the chair was very professional. I asked those congregated at the desk if they had any referrals for curtain/blinds professionals. The person that was designed to answer my question was very curt. As a 70 something gay male, I often wonder when I receive that type of response, if it is coming from a homophobic attitude. The experience was great i brought my furniture off the show room floor it was beautiful but when I got it home the sofa chair it looked as if it had been sat on often it had a small stain and it wasn't wrapped i am happy overall because I know the quality of the furniture and the experience in the store was really good.

The staff at the Rockville Sheffield Furniture Store were attentive and helpful, making us feel comfortable and even excited about our purchases. All of the staff were helpful and more interested in ensuring we found pieces that would work with our taste and budget, but Chris Thomas, Terry Sugar, and Debbie Harp were especially thoughtful, attentive, and basically *awesome* !! We are sad Sheffield is moving away from this location close to us, because we *love* their inventory and enjoyed meeting and working with the staff.
