This is my second time working with Sarah Herman’s and I absolutely love her , Sarah is so easy to work with , I told her what I was looking for and she did not disappoint, I love neutral colors everywhere in my home and she knew exactly what to show me .Sarah transformed my dining room last year from drapes which are stunning to wall color and a rug , I already had a dining table , she also helped me with dining chairs and they are perfect with the table This year Sarah helped me with my living room and again she did not disappoint, when people come into my home they are in awe of theses rooms , she helped me from scratch with my living room , I have the most beautiful window treatments and beautiful pillows a rug , everything looks amazing Next year I will be updating my bedroom and I will not work with anyone but Sarah , we absolutely love everything she has done for us.

Sarah was fantastic to work with! We love the selections she made for our home. Sarah offered us great choices, making the process of renovating and redecorating easier for us. We are so grateful to have found Sarah here on Houzz! We moved into a historic home two years ago and needed help with personalizing the living room and the dining room and consolidating our own style with the historic nature of the house. Many designers we interviewed insisted on blank slate rooms with no existing pieces, or gut-to-studs level renovations -- neither of which was practical for us. Sarah was able to take stock of our personal preferences and formulate a vision that elevated the heirloom pieces we already had and expanded what we thought was possible style-wise with fabulous new pieces and finishing touches. She was patient with our decision process and thoughtful of our budget at every turn. One notable example of Sarah's flexibility and adaptability involved a pastoral wallpaper that we wanted for our dining room. When she contacted the artist and priced the custom paper far outside our budget, she did not give up. Instead, she found a local muralist and gave us the exact effect we wanted at a fraction of the cost! We are really looking forward to working with Sarah on all of our future projects.

Sarah was great to work with for the design of our new dining room. She met with us several times to think about style, selections and budget. Once we had a plan Sarah recommended all of the pieces from dining room table, chairs, furniture, window treatments, lighting, wallpaper and paint color. The wallpaper and window treatments were particularly key as they were unique, elegant and fun. Sarah coordinated the delivery and installment of everything and ensured everything was done perfectly. We would recommend Sarah for your interior design needs.

For the second time, we had the pleasure of working with Sarah Hermans. This was a larger project (a fully renovated home), and she far exceeded our expectations. Having previously worked together, we knew Sarah had a keen eye for design and a great understanding of color theory. Sarah did an outstanding job tying the colors together throughout our house, incorporating simple, but elegant rooms design. Sarah helped us choose paint, furniture, artwork for each room and expertly coordinated them to create a cohesive and beautiful overall look. Her attention to detail and willingness to listen to our ideas made the process interactive rather than stressful. In addition to her decorating skills, Sarah excelled in her collaboration with our builder. Throughout the project, she effectively communicated with the builder to ensure that the design elements were properly incorporated into the construction. Her ability to work well with the builder helped to ensure that the final outcome met all of our expectations and resulted in a seamless integration of design and construction. We were particularly impressed with how Sarah was able to find creative solutions to any issues that arose, resulting in a beautiful and functional final product. We would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a decorator who can work well with builders to create a cohesive and beautiful final product. In summary, we could not be happier with the results and would highly recommend Sarah to anyone in need of a decorator (be it for a small or large project). She truly transformed our home into a warm and inviting place to live.

I highly recommend Sarah! I love the design she created and the tons of choices she offers. My living room is transformed and I smile every time I walk in or by it. Sarah was amazing. I knew I needed help redecorating our family room and was so happy to have found Sarah. Sarah listened to what we were looking for and took the time to get to know us, our style and how we lived. Redecorating during a pandemic/supply chain problem was a challenge, but Sarah kept us informed and laughing every step of the way. Sarah helped us pick out furniture, shelving, accessories, art, carpet, floor, paint...the whole deal. We love our new room - we told Sarah it's still us, just an elevated version of us. We could not be more happy with the results and the entire process.

I would highly recommend Sarah Hermans Interiors for anyone looking for a top notch interior designer. Sarah is a very talented professional with a great eye for color, texture, shape and form. She has the capability to transform a living space into a dream home. Sarah is fun and easy to work with and was as excited about my project as I was! The process begins with a consultation. She looks at the space and listens to your thoughts, ideas and budget requirements. She then shares her vision of how she sees the house in the the most non-pressure sort of way. My husband and I had very recently moved into this house in PA and there were a few things about it that I thought I might need to change. Sarah helped me see what I didn’t see and I ended up embracing the parts of the house that I had questioned. I loved her vision of how the space would look and feel. We set an appointment for her to come back with paint colors, fabric swatches and pictures of furnishings based on what we had discussed. Together we went through them, discussed all the options and with her guidance I made my choices. She placed the orders that afternoon. When everything arrived at her warehouse, she called to set an appointment for the install. She came and placed everything perfectly from rugs to pillows. She left us with rooms we love.. Sarah is efficient, accessible and a great communicator. She will be my go-to for any future projects down the road.

Sarah did a beautiful job helping me pull together the first floor of my home. She helped me incorporate new pieces with my existing pieces and everything came together perfect and exactly how I imagined it. She made it easy by bringing samples to my home in the colors we discussed so I could see stuff in my space. I would recommend her for any project large or small.

We have been working with Sarah on various projects for the past 8 years. When we first moved to the area, she helped us make our first house a home. Then, we moved 2 years ago to a house closer to our son's school and we needed a lot of help. The house was very dark and out dated. She helped us to update our new home and brighten things up. She even helped us incorporate furniture and accessories we already owned. Over the years, Sarah has helped us with furniture, accessories, paint, wall paper, window treatments and more. She also has a great network of contractors to help with anything that is outside of her wheelhouse. Sarah is intelligent, thoughtful, and a delight to work. And, she is very good at following through to get the project finished.

Sarah did an amazing job updating my living room and remodeling my powder room, so then I decided to have her update my dining room as well. These 3 rooms have been completely transformed and we could not be happier with the results! Sarah has a lot of fabulous ideas, and she's really easy to work with. I engaged Sarah to re-do the look of my family room. She helped me with furniture selection, accessories, art and gave me her opinion on windows treatments snd paint as well. It turned out beautifully! She listened to me and helped me make decisions (which I’m not great at). Ske made the process easy And organized everything so that every item was installed same day. She dealt with covid delays as best she could. I’m so happy with my light, airy and comfy room that is perfect for me and my kids. Thank you Sarah!

My family and I are thrilled with the finished project we worked on with Sarah Hermans Interiors! We moved into a new construction home 6 years ago and the two front rooms, a dining room and a sitting room, challenged us with regards to function and style. Both rooms were open into each other and one included ill-fitting furniture from our prior home, and the second, an empty 'formal dining room' which we were not interested in. Sarah helped us turn both spaces into very different yet coordinating spaces - both welcoming, casual, and functional that our family - which includes 4 boys - love to use daily for reading, homework, games, and simply enjoying time together. Sarah is friendly and professional; I felt comfortable having her in our home and appreciated her eye for color and texture. She took the time to get a feel for our style and needs, she was willing to work with many items we already had in place, and within our budget. Communication during the entire process was excellent, and the project was completed within the time frame proposed. Sarah is detailed, and meticulous - down to the last bit of trim on a pillow to set it off, and offered up several beautiful and unique suggestions (that light!). We are enjoying the new spaces in our home and would work with her again if the opportunity arrises.

My husband and I are so happy we met Sarah. She is an incredible designer, she has great vision for a room and is an excellent communicator. She was able to understand our style and the look we were trying accomplish, and introduce ideas which we did not initially envision. The results exceeded our expectations and we now enjoy spending time in our living room more than ever before.
