About MaryRose
"Our homes are our sanctuaries in the crazy days that we have survived. It's where we find comfort and create the moments that become the memories that last a lifetime. Our homes should reflect who we are, and the relationships I create with my clients on this journey are one of my proudest accomplishments. I am blessed to have the greatest clients and the best job in the world - I help create beauty and bring joy into homes!"
MaryRose is an accomplished artist who uses her natural talent and sense of color to create welcoming and beautiful spaces for her clients. She takes pride in the trust and confidence her clients have in her. Building those relationships with her clients is one of her favorite parts of the design process. MaryRose grew up in the business. Her mom was also an ASID designer who had her own custom drapery workroom and design studio - she even had a Design & Decorating Cable Show with her mom and sister on cable long before the days of HGTV! She has also spent many years as a retail buyer and visual merchandiser for companies like Sheffield, specializing in high-end design and furniture. These experiences, along with her substantial world travels, give MaryRose a unique and extensive expertise in this industry that she brings to every new project. Her inner soul is traditional but has fallen in love with Mission and Stickley over the years - ask her what her favorite piece of furniture is, and the answer is her Stickley, Dinner Gong! MaryRose has designed homes for clients reaching from Wyoming to California to Florida and Maine and keeping it local in the Washington Metropolitan area.

The designer I worked with, MaryRose Brennan, was excellent. She has the patience of a saint as we first ordered furniture and then window treatments with her help. I love my new Stickley furniture. On my end, the process was unfortunately disrupted by two family emergencies. MaryRose and the staff in charge of scheduling deliveries were so very understanding throughout that difficult time.

Mary Rose has been fantastic! Her decorating style is exactly what I was looking for and she has been (very) patient working with us to find the right pieces for our home. We did purchase a floor model set and the minor touch ups were done so well, the pieces look brand new! Delivery team was professional, furniture arrived carefully wrapped and was set in place without a scratch.

Excellent support from Sheffield from purchase all the way through delivery. The only odd thing is that on the new sofa, the manufacturer chose an "invisible" style zipper than inexplicably contrasts highly with the upholstery color (it's beige on a dark brown sofa). Otherwise I am very happy with everything.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Mary Rose was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, found perfect pieces, helped us with fabrics, and got everything taken care of perfectly. And delivery men Carlos and Carlos were friendly and professional and careful and good humored. The phone contacts were friendly and helpful, and the extra effort to get everything to us by Memorial Day weekend the visit from our old friends was remarkable. Our friends loved everything and wanted to sit in the chairs immediately (and we had our recovered dining chair seats back in time to have breakfast the next morning. And all the re-upholstery was careful and perfect! Thank you!
