Leslie Moretti has a background in construction design. She created her own title “Detail Designer” because of all the details she could specify and elaborate on for builders, designers, and homeowners. She didn’t design one thing—she designed an entire atmosphere and it takes a lot of details to make a room work! She also has an extensive background in clothing design and manufacturing and was also an accomplished pastry chef.
Leslie’s personal style is organic, bohemian, playful and sophisticated. She loves layers of colors and textures and details and anything from nature. Nature is her inspiration. She is also very inspired by Coco Chanel’s design philosophies:
- 1. “Luxury must be comfortable otherwise it is not luxury.”
- 2. “Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance.”
- 3. “In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.”
Leslie implements practicality, comfort, and style into all of her designs.
Using her intuition and experience, Leslie discovers hints about a client’s style from how they are dressed, what they say, and what their interests are. She works extremely hard to design specifically for each person. Every client gets an original design that is specifically thought out just for them.
