Biography:
Jane’s experience in interior design spans 34 years starting when she earned her bachelors degree in interior design at Iowa State University. Through the years, Jane worked with clients at Twetten’s Interiors in Spencer, Iowa, Mastercraft Interiors in Rockville, MD, and spent 8 1/2 years at Danker Furniture. She then continued in the field as a freelance designer for 20 years before returning to Danker Furniture in 2008 as they transitioned to Sheffield Furniture. She’s a Maryland Certified Interior Designer and an Allied Member of ASID.
Jane’s numerous residential projects revolve around satisfying her client’s needs and fulfilling their vision. Her strengths include color coordination, space planning, lighting design, and specification of surfaces, all while integrating select pieces of a client’s existing collection. Jane enjoys working with design styles ranging from traditional to contemporary.
Love of color, pattern and design spill over into her hobby of quilt making, something she does in her free time. Another passion that captured her attention for 17 years, Jane’s driven for the Meals on Wheels program in her Maryland community and served as a member of the Board.
