Highland Park Red

Highland Park Red is named after a common area in Harvey Ellis’s home town of Rochester, N.Y. “Decoration reduced to its simplest element is, aside from color, nothing more or less than an arrangement of space,” wrote Ellis. This is apparent in the simple, well-balanced motifs revealed in the border of our Highland Park Rugs, which pay tribute to Harvey Ellis’s acclaimed inlay designs. Handknotted by Nepalese weavers using wool from Himalayan Highland sheep, into a simple and elegant carpet.
